Borrow Fees

When you borrow or repay, you may see two types of fees:

• Operation Fee: A protocol fee charged when you open or increase a borrow. This fee is deducted from the disbursed amount, so you receive slightly less than your requested borrow amount while your debt is recorded at the full requested amount. The fee is routed to protocol beneficiaries such as the insurance fund or treasury.
• Transaction Fee: The Stellar network fee required to submit the transaction on-chain. This is separate from any protocol fees.

Repayments may also carry a small operation fee if configured by the pool admin. This is typically set to zero.
