How to Borrow Assets ​

Open Markets ​

Go to Markets.

Start a borrow ​

Press Borrow for the asset you want to borrow.

Enter an amount ​

Enter an amount (or press MAX).

Review the details ​

Position Impact

  • Health Factor: Your position’s safety score before and after the action. Higher is safer.
  • Loan-to-Value (LTV): Your debt-to-collateral ratio before and after the action.
  • Max LTV: The maximum LTV before your position becomes eligible for liquidation.

Borrow details

  • Collateral assets: The assets currently backing your position.
  • Total collateral value: The combined USD value of your collateral.
  • Borrow Rate: The annualized interest rate you pay on the borrowed amount; interest adds up over time until you repay.
  • Available liquidity: The pool’s currently available lending liquidity for this asset.

Fees (expandable)

  • Operation Fee: A protocol fee charged for the action.
  • Transaction Fee: The network fee to submit the transaction on Stellar.

If the button shows Add Trust instead of Borrow, you need to establish a Stellar trustline for this asset first. Press the button to add the trustline, then proceed with the borrow.

Acknowledge and confirm ​

Check the acknowledgement box, press Borrow and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
